I recently discovered the Ozeri glasses. After the first purchase from Amazon, Ozeri emailed a 30% promotional code. With that, the Ozeris cost about half as much as Bodums.The Ozeris, made in China, look very similar to the Bodums. They are a bit heavier and appear to have thicker glass. Unlike the Bodums, the airspace between the Ozeri double walls appears to be hermetically sealed, so they must experience the pressure-cycling effect to a higher degree than the Bodums. Time will tell if that is an issue. Side by side, they look almost identical. The dimples in the Ozeri's do not appear to serve any function, aesthetic or ergonomic - and i am guessing that they may have been only necessary to work around patent issues. I ran a side-by-side test of the Ozeri and Bodum glasses, by pouring equal volumes of hot water of certain temperature simultaneously in an Ozeri and Bodum... Was looking for The Bodum style but at a reduced price and these have really fit the bill. I like the thumb notches as they make holding the cup very comfortable. The glasses are great for hot drinks, the outside stays cool and it took noticeably longer for the drink to cool down than a regular plastic cup. They went through the dishwasher great. When I received the glasses from Amazon, 2 of the glasses were shattered. I notified Ozeri's customer service and they were exceptionally professional, responding quickly and letting me know they were shipping 2 more glasses out immediately.
